What are your services like?

Picture
Worship services usually consist of singing (both congregational and special music), along with prayer and scripture reading. These are important in preparing our hearts to receive the Word of God. The Pastor will bring a message that is Bible-based and relevant, drawing lessons from scripture that we can apply to our daily lives. Typically, services conclude with an invitation to come forward, for anyone desiring special prayer or counseling - however, this is optional, as we feel it is always important to not make anyone feel self-conscious or singled out. Services rarely last more than an hour.

What if I'm not a Baptist?

Picture
We invite and welcome you to be part of our worship services, regardless of your denominational background. We are an independent church, and the "Baptist" in our name refers to our doctrinal beliefs, not a denominational affiliation.

Will I have to Join the Church?

Picture
No, you are welcome to attend our services without joining. We do feel that church membership is an important part of a person's Christian growth, and if the Lord leads you to join us at the proper time, we would be happy to consider you as a candidate for membership. For more information on the steps of Christian growth, check with the Pastor.

Do you take up an Offering?

Picture
  • We do collect an offering during our services, so that members have an opportunity to financially support the church's mission and operations. Guests are welcome but not expected to give. We are interested in getting to know you, not taking your money.
